Christina Wong, a dedicated, licensed physical therapy assistant, was born in the Chicagoland area. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in deafness rehabilitation counseling from Northern Illinois University in 1995. Later, she moved with her husband to Mililani, Hawaii, which is located on the island of Oahu. There, she was a stay-at-home mom for several years and became very active in hiking, running, and swimming.
While in Hawaii, Christina developed a passion for helping others with health and fitness. In 2013, she earned her Associate of Science degree in physical therapist assistant from Kapi’olani Community College in Honolulu, Hawaii. Since graduating, she has worked in outpatient clinics, where she has developed innovative skills in treating patients with various orthopedic conditions, neurological conditions, and pelvic floor dysfunctions.
Christina works closely with the physical therapy team to help her patients improve their strength, range of motion, and function to reach their optimal physical potential. Her friendly and encouraging personality helps patients have a more enjoyable experience while reaching their physical therapy goals. Creating a positive and uplifting environment is also important to the healing process. Christina has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since 2012.
During her free time, Christina enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, volunteering at church, exercising, gardening, hiking, snorkeling, and traveling. She also speaks conversational Cantonese and knows American Sign Language.
